NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR
October 2006
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We all need to work together as a community. With that
being said, this is the FIRST TIME THAT WE HAVE A POSITIVE BALANCE IN
OUR HOA BANK ACCOUNTS! PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS DUE TO THE HARD WORK OF ALL OUR
VOLUNTEERS INCLUDING OUR BOARD MEMBERS!
There has been mismanagement from the companies that DPKC had
employed to run the HOA in past years, to do what our volunteers do for
free. If you would like to ensure your voice is heard, e-mail/mail
suggestions, come to meetings to help with resolution &/or volunteer. The
DPKCHOA BOD would like to ask each of you how you would like to see our savings
spent. This was the intent of the first open forum meeting. Suggestion
boxes are now permanently installed at the front by our neighborhood signs.
These boxes will be used to gage the ENTIRE community’s thoughts. Please cut
the bottom of this newsletter off, complete it and drop it in our suggestion
boxes.
We would like to have a community yard sale. The next
community Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, November 4 and
Sunday, November 5, 2006. An ad will be placed in the Florida Times
Union and something to draw attention will be placed at the front entrances.
Have you checked out our web site? If you have not had the
opportunity yet, please CHECK IT OUT! It is updated by our volunteer web
master regularly. www.dpkchoa.com
We recently posted sample fence & concrete stain colors.
November 1, 2006 is right around the corner. Please make sure that your
fence, sidewalk and driveway are properly maintained.
Please send in nominations for Yard of the Month.
Please help us in congratulating our winners!!!
Neighborhood Watch update- there has been a
history of auto burglaries in our community. The most recent has been in
October on
It’s that time again!!! We need to change the flowers at
the front entrances. We have a committee of volunteers that would love
your help. If you are interested, please let us know.
As a reminder, please do not feed the feral cats in our
community. Their population is growing, is a nuisance to neighbors and
can be dangerous.
Thank you for your time and effort. Let’s continue to work
together to make our community a better place.
Sincerely,
Would you like to see the HOA?

area?
B) Start getting quotes on adding
amenities such as a pool, basketball court, tennis/racquetball courts, and /or
playground for our children?
C) Speed bumps?
